FOR B2B FOUNDERS WHOSE GROWTH HAS STALLED SOMEWHERE BETWEEN $1M AND $15M
Fractional CMO, VP of Sales and CRO Pricing. Set by What I Fix, Not by What You've Raised.
The biggest consulting firms don't publish a price, because theirs is set by the client: the same work costs whatever the buyer in front of them can carry. Mine is set by who does the fixing, so I can print it.
A price that only exists inside a proposal can move depending on how the discovery call went. These don't.

The Same Four Fixes I've Run Since 1999, Priced by Who Does Them
All four: month to month, no minimum term, remote. No equity, no severance, no notice period, no bonus. Hours are never billed, never counted, and never the basis for what you pay.
Fractional CRO
Marketing says the leads are fine. Sales says they're junk. Both report to you, so every quarter you're the one who has to decide who's right. Put both teams under me, and I report to you. I fix all four parts of the RevenueEngine™ in order, including the handoff between the teams, so revenue has one owner and nobody left to blame.
Full-time equivalent (a marketing chief and a sales chief): $56,000 – $78,000 a month, plus equity
What moves the price: how much has to be rebuilt, and how many products and segments the number covers.
Fractional CMO
The agency's report says clicks are up. Your head of sales says the leads are junk, and nobody can tell you which of those dollars turned into a deal. Put your marketing team and its budget under me, and I report to you. I fix positioning and messaging, then build marketing's side of prospecting, so my number is the pipeline your head of sales accepts.
Full-time equivalent (a full-time CMO): $26,000 – $34,000 a month, plus equity
What moves the price: how much has to be rebuilt (a team to lead, or one to hire), and how many products and segments marketing has to carry.
Fractional VP of Sales
Deals close when you're on the call. When you're not, they stall, and nobody can tell you what your sales team does all day. Put your sales team, SDRs included, under me, and I report to you. I fix outbound and sales: who your reps go after, what they say, where next month's deals come from, then a way of selling every rep can repeat.
Full-time equivalent (a full-time VP of sales): $30,000 – $43,000 a month, plus equity
What moves the price: how much has to be rebuilt, and how many products and segments your reps sell.
Advisory
Everyone has an opinion about your marketing and sales: your board, your agency, the last consultant. Nobody tells you what to do next. You ask, and I tell you what, in what order and why. I look over what your team has built before money goes into it, and you have a direct line when something can't wait. Your team does the fixing.
Paid in advance: a quarter for $16,200 – $21,600, half a year for $30,000 – $40,000
What moves the price: bringing me marketing and sales both, decisions across more than one product or segment, and anyone besides you on the direct line.
If you'd rather I did the fixing, that's one of the three roles above.
Fractional CMO, VP of Sales and CRO Pricing: What It Costs, What Moves It, What Isn't Included
How much does a fractional CMO cost?
Across the market, $5,000 to $25,000 a month, with established operators publishing $10,000 to $18,000 for a working executive role and $5,000 to $8,000 for advisory. Full-service arrangements that include a delivery team run $25,000 to $50,000.
Mine are $6,000 to $8,000 for advisory and $10,000 to $18,000 for the marketing role or the sales role. In the marketing role, your head of sales stays my peer and reports to you. In the sales role, your sales team reports to me, and your head of marketing stays my peer and reports to you.
If you need marketing and sales run together, that's $20,000 to $32,000.
Why publish pricing when almost no consultancy does?
Because the alternative is asking you to spend an hour on a call to learn something you could have learned in ten seconds, and because a price that only exists inside a proposal can move depending on how that call went.
The firms that don't publish mostly can't — their price is a function of the client rather than the work. Mine isn't, so it's written down.
What isn't included?
Ad spend, software and tools, contractors, and any third-party cost — those are billed to you by the vendors, not marked up through me. Production work — design, video, development — isn't in the retainer either. I direct it; I don't manufacture it.
A Demand Agency Charges $35,000 to Find What's Broken. Mine Takes a Week, and It's Free.
It's called WeekZero™. I spend a week on your numbers and in conversations with you, the people who run your marketing and sales, and your customers. Then an hour with you, and an action plan you keep whether you hire me or not:
• Where you are in the RevenueEngine™
• The out-of-order fix that's costing you most
• What to fix first, and in what order
• Which of these four roles you need, if any
Free doesn't mean I take everyone. The week is how we both decide: whether I'm the right person to fix what's broken, and whether you're a company I can do my best work for. Better to know both before money changes hands.
Free: a week of analysis, a one-hour report-out, and an action plan you keep. I take one a week, because each one is a week of my time. NDA on request.
I work with B2B companies between $1M and $15M whose customers already love them.
